David Moyes has insisted that Everton remain in contention for European qualification, but urged his side to “step up” their efforts after extending their winless run to five Premier League matches following a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Toffees boss acknowledged the need for improvement as the team struggles to convert draws into victories, yet he remains confident that a Europa League or Conference League spot is still within reach.
“We’ve shown resilience but we need to turn those performances into wins if we want to keep chasing European football,” Moyes said after the match. “We’re not out of it yet, but we certainly have to raise our level.”
